State of Anchovy Clothing Transfers

This transfer is for use on cotton or mixed textiles of 50% or more cotton textiles of any colour.

• Cut around your image using scissors. If you are a Blue Peter viewer, or just feeling lazy please ask your mother to do this for you.

• Switch on your iron to the highest setting and allow to heat fully. Do not use steam.

• For best results place a smooth cloth for example two kitchen towels or a folded pillow case between the t-shirt and a solid surface such as a table top.
  If you use a table that has been varnished exspect some of the varnish to end up on the cloth, This may be detrimental to the look of the table and the cloth.
  You can use an ironing board but years of exsperience has told us that this may not lead to optimum results for the T-shirt especialy for designes with large areas of colour. The flatter the surface and less likely to give the better.

• Iron the article of clothing to receive the transfer.

• Peel off the backing paper and place the image face up on the item of clothing.

• Now place the enclosed ironing protection paper (the brown paper) onto the image.

• Iron the image together with the protective paper applying consistent circular pressure distributing the heat evenly. DO NOT USE STEAM.
  Apply heat for 60-90 seconds for the full size transfers, 15 seconds for a quater page image and 10 seconds for a sleeve flash.
  Concentrate on using the centre of the iron during transfer including all the edges of the image.

• Whilst still warm after about 10 seconds peel off the protective paper from one corner using firm and steady tension.

• Max wash 40°C turning the garment inside out.

• Do not tumble dry.

• Iron after washing (do not apply iron directly to transfer or the back of the Tshirt behind the image).

• Wear your t-shirt with pride; it makes you cooler than everyone else.
